Lonsdale House - Derwent (Pet-Friendly)

Looking for a dog-friendly stay in the Lake District? Derwent is a double apartment in the centre of Ulverston, on the edge of the Lake District, with an open-plan kitchen, living and sleeping space that is easy to settle into. It has a double bed and a sofa bed, so it suits a couple or a small family.

Derwent is reached by our period staircase. It has an interconnecting door to Keswick, so if you are travelling with family or friends you can book both and have two apartments that open into each other.

There is a full kitchen, a walk-in shower, high-speed Wi-Fi and a workspace, plus a new mattress for a good night's sleep. We provide tea and coffee from Farrer's of Kendal, so you can put the kettle on as soon as you arrive.

Dogs are welcome here (£10 per dog per night, up to two), with a small welcome pack waiting for them. Your dog is welcome to relax with you in the walled garden. To keep it lovely for all our guests, please take them for a stroll outside for toilet breaks.

Our private walled "Secret Garden" is a lovely quiet spot for a coffee, and self check-in is from 3pm, so you can arrive when it suits you. Pay and display parking is available very close by.
