Lonsdale House - Borrowdale

Looking for twin beds in the Lake District? Borrowdale is a twin apartment in the centre of Ulverston, on the edge of the Lake District, in our Grade II listed Georgian townhouse. It has twin beds plus a sofa bed, which makes it a great choice for friends, siblings or colleagues on a trip to South Cumbria.

Borrowdale is reached by our period staircase. The twin bedroom is calm and quiet, with soft natural tones and bedside lamps, and there is a separate living area to sit and plan the next day. There is a full kitchen, a walk-in shower, high-speed Wi-Fi and a workspace, plus a new mattress for a good night's sleep. We provide tea and coffee from Farrer's of Kendal, so you can put the kettle on as soon as you arrive.

Our private walled "Secret Garden" is a lovely quiet spot for a coffee, and self check-in is from 3pm, so you can arrive when it suits you. Pay and display parking is available very close by.

Ulverston is a friendly market town, with independent cafes and pubs on your doorstep, and Coniston Water and the Cartmel Peninsula are both a short drive away.
